(February 27th of 2010 to Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a secluded community in that part of the island of Montreal known as the West Island. The West Island can be confusing to those unfamiliar of its purpose. They often believe it's an island to the that lies west of Montreal however the West Island encompasses everything between the two cities that are Lachine and West. Amanda Brugel grew up on the West Island, and it is commonly known as the place where she was born. However, she only resided there for a very short time.
